Suitable for people with experience or beginners. A fantastic way to strengthen the mind and body whilst being gentle and relaxing.
Hatha yoga focusing on gentle and restorative postures. Breath work, relaxation and meditation. Parent and baby yoga. Breathing and natural remedies for birth and beyond.
Classes cost £6.00 to try £5.50 per class for a block (e.g. 6 classes) at £33.00
Yoga Classes and Courses:
There isn't a current class however if you would like to do a four to six week block you may hire me as a private tutor.
Private classes can be held for up to four students for £30 an hour. Alternatively if there is a small group of you that would like to run a course then please get in touch to discuss.
Prenatal/Antenatal YogaClasses are designed to help you relax, stretch, strengthen and tone. Helping to ease pregnancy related problems, give you strength in childbirth and a more speedy recovery. A great way to bond with your unborn child.
What to expect:
The class will last about for an hour and a half. Like a normal yoga class the class will contain a centering or breathing exercise at the beginning followed by postures (asana) and a relaxation at the end.
What to bring:
Yoga mat (or non slip gym mat)
Blanket
Cushion
If there isn't a dedicated class at the time you are welcome to my mixed classes which often have pregnant and antenatal students attending.
Postnatal/Recovery & Baby Yoga
For Mums and Dads from 6 weeks after delivery until baby crawls. Please check with your GP/Health Visitor/Midwife that you are ready to start an exercise class. Classes are designed to heal the body after pregnancy and childbirth. Baby gets to watch, join in and stretch also. Get fit, flexible, tone and relax. A great way to share time with your baby and meet new people.
What to expect:
The class will last for an hour and a half and will contain; a centering or breathing exercise at the beginning followed by postures (asana) and a relaxation at the end. If your baby wants to they will be able to join in some postures, watch others and do some stretches specially designed just for them. If you need to you will be able to come a few minutes early to get your baby ready. After the class there will be also be time for babies and parents to get ready to leave so that there isn't any rushing if baby needs to be changed or eat.
What to bring:

Blocks and belt (if required)
For baby:
Food
Toy or pacifier (if required)
Car seat/Pram
Changing bag or any other equipment used for outings.
